I love looking for the best fitness transformations. That’s because there is something so highly motivating about seeing someone who you can relate with turn their whole life around. It also motivates you to think “if they can do it, so can I, right?”.

Today, I thought I would supply you with a healthy dose of fitness motivation. These are the 6 most impressive fitness transformations I was able to find on Facebook this week. Just so you know: all these people posted in 50+ fitness groups so I think it’s safe to assume they’re all 50 years or older. Enjoy getting inspired!

1. Lyndsay Is Smiling Again

Let’s start off with one of the most impressive transformations on the whole list! Lyndsay lost a staggering 160+ pounds in the span of one year. Not only does she seem healthier, she also looks happier.

2. Jennifer Became A Strong Gym Rat

Jennifer didn’t only go through an impressive weight loss transformation, she also seems to have gained some serious muscle (and probably strength) in the process! As she says: “It takes a lot of time, consistency, and sacrifices”. That all seems worth it though!

3. Austin Has Got A Six Pack

Not only did Austin lose a bunch of weight, impressively enough she also got a six-pack (something which truly is quite rare with women). You go Austin!

4. Ben Is Shredding Pounds

Of course, we can’t forget the men on this list. How about Ben? He lost 55 kilos (121 pounds) by strength training 4-5 times a week and eating 180 grams of protein in a moderate caloric deficit every day. The results speak for themselves and losing those last pounds surely is only a matter of time!

5. Jean Got Super Fit

Jean has been super consistent! Over the span of four years she has clearly transformed herself throughout her 50’s. What I like about this one is that this is what healthy, consistent transformation looks like: it’s not just a quick fix, it’s a sustainable lifestyle change. Congrats!

6. Steve With The 150 Pound Loss

Steve was, as he says it himself: pretty much close to death. Weighing in at 350 pounds, he probably wasn’t in optimal condition, we’ll give him that. However, look at him now! That’s a man that has truly turned his life around.

This is what he had to say about his transformation in the comments:
