10 Most Popular Vegan Recipes I Found On Facebook

Share this blog:

Facebook can be an absolute goldmine for vegan recipes! However, it can be hard to find the recipes that are actually good. For this blog, I’ve looked through hundreds of recipes to find the actual golden nuggets. Some of them didn’t have instructions, in which case I tried to come up with my own. Enjoy your daily vegan recipe inspiration!

Fettucine With Sauteed Artichoke Hearts, Tofu, And Broccoli.

The original poster didn’t provide instructions with this recipe so I went ahead and created my own to the best of my abilities. This is what I think Liz did:

First, boil the pasta and reserve 1 cup of pasta water before draining. At the same time, press and cook the tofu. You do this by cutting the tofu into cubes, cooking them in some oil for 5-7 minutes, and setting aside.

At the same time, add the minced garlic, broccoli florets, and artichoke hearts and sauté for 5 minutes. Finally, add the tofu to the vegetables, add in the vegan oyster sauce and lemon juice, and cook for another 2 minutes to mix the flavors.

Tofu Alla Boscaiola With Cauliflower Rice

I floured the tofu and air fried it (I use unseasoned baked tofu). Meanwhile I sautéed the onion and the sliced mushrooms (I used a mixture of wild mushrooms and white buttons) in a mixture of olive oil and vegan butter.

After a few minutes I added 1 minced clove of garlic and sautéed an extra minute, then added about 2 tbsp of flour and mixed everything, I added the air fried tofu back into the pan then I deglazed with white wine about 1/2 cup seasoned with salt and pepper, fresh Italian parsley.

Mango-Jalapeño Fried Tofu

“The tofu is pressed, marinated in a bit of sauce for an hour, tossed in corn starch, fried, tossed in more sauce

Amelia Nielsen

Besides these instructions, not a lot was said by the poster. Of course, you can make the mango-jalapeño sauce yourself but you can also buy this in stores or on Amazon by clicking the button below. For the rest, the recipe seems to be straightforward and easy to make!

Salsa Dumplings

I took a screenshot of the sauce ingredients and then you just use whatever frozen dumpling you have access to 😻 (or make your own but I didn’t want to)

I added the screenshot she’s talking about here:

Spaghetti With Chopped Tomatoes, Spinach And Chickpeas

I used prepared chopped tomatoes with garlic. I only added a bit of sugar, salt, pepper, olive oil and a bit of pasta water 🙂

Tofu Scramble Wrap

I made it like I normally do, pan fried in a little oil: vegetables and pepitas with seasoning salt, turmeric, nutritional yeast and crumbled extra firm tofu. This time I added a spoonful of vegan chipolte mayo at the end and stirred it all together. Really nice!

Vegan Grilled Cheese Sandwich

As he states in the description, he used Fields & Roast Creamy Chao brand, a coconut-based vegan cheese with fermented tofu. You can find this brand by clicking the button below.

Red Lentil Penne With Pine Nut Cream

Also, not many instructions were provided here, but I think that if you mix pasta with some red sauce and season with with salt, pepper, dried oregano, and basil to taste, you have a good base. Still, the pine cream is lesser known and this is how you would do that:

In a blender or food processor, combine pine nuts with enough water to cover them, and blend until smooth to create a creamy consistency. If you like, you can add garlic, nutritional yeast, salt, and pepper to taste for additional flavor.

Hummus And Veggie Wrap

Simple yet a delicious lunch. I also think how to make this really speaks for itself since the ingredients are already listed in the post!

Vegan Sushi

The tofu is really good inside. I don’t press it, just spice it up with salt, garlic powder and paprika, some corn flour. Then cook it on the frying pan in slices that I cut into straps after. (…) On top, I put ginger paste and wasabi

My Personal Favorite

I’m joking of course, but I thought it was hilarious this is one of the most popular recipes on Facebook. Sometimes, less is more!
